Sister Annie WISHART served in Princess Christian's Army Nursing Service (Reserve), enlisting June 16 1900. Her service number was 617.[1][2]

After Military Service

After the Boer War she travelled extensively in Canada.

During the Great War Miss Wishart first of all nursed in the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. She then went to Wilmslow where she stayed with her sister Mrs. Gilmour and took a prominent part in the hospital work there during the later part of the war.

After this Miss Wishart acted as matron at the Nurses’ Home, Colinton, Edinburgh.
