Sister Ellen TIMBRELL served in Princess Christian's Army Nursing Service (Reserve), enlisting July 2 1900. Her service number was 682.[1][2][3][4]
The hospital at Deelfontein [Imperial Yeomanry] numbers 1,000 beds and a further branch will be established at Pretoria within a few weeks. The staff for the latter is now en route and consist of the following doctors and nurses, besides 82 orderlies and 8 ward maids:
