Nursing Service in the Boer War

Nurse E ROME was a civilian nurse who cared for the British sick and wounded during the Boer War.[1]

The Queen's South Africa Medal Roll notes: Served for a period of 6 weeks during the siege as a probationer and left owing to ill health[2]
