Nursing Service in the Boer War

Sister F Eleanor FORTESCUE was sent by Canada to care for the sick and wounded during the Boer War.[1][2][3]

Sailed SS Corinthian January 28 1901 to Liverpool, then from Southampton on RMS Saxon, arriving Cape Town March 2, 1901. Departed Durban June 25, 1902 in SS Winifedian, arriving Halifax July 22, 1902.
