After Military Service
Arrived at Kimberley just in time to get shut up for the siege. In 1902 was Mtron of the hospital at Bulawayo. She then did some 'transport duty' back to England. She returned to South Africa as Matron of the New Somerset Hospital, Cape Town. She served in WW1 as part of the South African Nursing Contingent until she was invalided home with influenza in 1919. After this she resumed her civilian career.
