ADKINS, Eleanor Elizabeth

Eleanor Elizabeth ADKINS was born in Weedon, Northamptonshire, about 1873[1]. She trained as a nurse at the North-West London, Hospital, and joined Princess Christian’s Army Nursing Service (Reserve) on February 23, 1900 (Service Number 353)[2].
Nursing Service in the Boer War (1899-1902)
She served in Bloemfontein[3] [4].
Nursing after the Boer War
In 1911 she was a Nursing Sister at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight[1].
