Biography

Ethel Andrew trained at the Royal Infirmary, Salford. She enlisted in the Princess Christian's Army Nursing Service (Reserve) on May 12th, 1900 with a service number 506[1].

Service during the Boer War

Sister Andrew served at No. 14 Stationary Hospital, Maritzburg[2], and on the Hospital Ship Orcana[3].
