Nursing Service in the Boer War (1899-1902)

LC ALLMAN joined the Princess Christian’s Army Nursing Service (Reserve) and sailed for South Africa on November 16, 1899. She served at the No. 1 General Hospital in Wynberg[1], and the No. 2 General Hospital in Pretoria[2].
