Biography

Constance Addison was born in South Africa on March 15th, 1867[1].

Nursing Service in the Boer War (1899-1902)

Nurse Constance Spong ADDISON served as a member of the Natal Volunteers[2]. She was awarded the Royal Red Cross for nursing services at Intombi Camp during the siege of Ladysmith[3]. She also served at the military hospital in Pietermaritizburg, Natal[2].
