Biography
Amy Bland HILL was born in Norton, Radnorshire in Wales in 1865. She was the daughter of the Vcar of Norton[1]. She trained at the New York Hospital in the USA[2].
Nursing Service in the Boer War (1899-1902)
Sister Florence ABRAHAM does not appear on the medal rolls for South Africa, but the 1901 census shows her working as a military nurse at the Devonport Military Hospital[3] .
