Biography

Constance was born in 1883, and educated at Blackheath High School and Cheltenham Ladies College. She trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London from 1905 to 1908[1].

Nursing Service after the Boer War

Staff Nurse Constance Eveline Aldridge enlisted in the Queen Alexandra' Imperial Military Nursing Service (QAIMNS) on the 25th Feb, 1909[2], and the 1911 Census shows her as a visitor, Woolwich[3]. She resigned to be married October 1912[1]
