She was the daughter of John and Mennie Margaret Fowler, of West Lewiston, Inverness-shire. She died at sea February 17, 1942, and her name is recorded on the Singapore Memorial Column 113&amp;lt;&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;Commonwealth War Graves Commission&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
