After Military Service

MISS C. G. STRONACH
Miss Catherine Geddes Stronach, C.B. E., formerley principal Matron of Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service, died in a Swindon nursing home on Friday at the age of 86. The daughter of R. S. Stronach of Glasgow, she was born in 1875 and served in the South African War and the First World War. During the latter she was in France and Belgium and was twice mentioned in dispatches. She was made C.B.E. (Military) in 1928.
